What we collect, who else receives it, and how to opt out.
This policy explains what happens to information when you visit The Rep Guide ("we", "us"). We keep it short and specific on purpose.
What we collect directly
Nothing that identifies you personally. We do not run accounts, we do not ask you to sign up, and no form on this site asks for your name or email. If you choose to email us, we keep that email so we can reply to it.
What third parties collect
Three kinds of service run on this site, and each receives information about your visit:
- Analytics. We use a web analytics service to count visits and see which pages people read. It records the page you viewed, your approximate region, your device type and the site you came from.
- Advertising. We display ads supplied by third-party ad networks, including Google. These networks and their partners use cookies and similar technology to serve ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Affiliate programs. Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination merchant may set a cookie recording that we referred you, so we are credited if you buy. We never receive your name, address or payment details from these programs, only aggregate reports of clicks and sales.
How to opt out
- Opt out of personalised advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings.
- Opt out of third-party vendor cookies more broadly at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
- Your browser can block or delete cookies for this site at any time. The site works without them.
If you are in the EU, UK or California
You have the right to ask what personal information is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. Because we hold no accounts, in most cases we hold nothing about you beyond what the third parties above collect under their own policies. To make a request, email the address on our contact page.
California residents: we do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising cookie use may count as "sharing" under the CCPA; the opt-out links above cover it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
